Korean BBQ

1 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup sesame seed oil
1 cup sugar
1 clove garlic
ground pepper
green onions
sesame seeds

4-5 pounds
Short rib cut 1/4 inch

Combine all ingredients (add green onions near the end) and simmer over low heat until sugar melts.
Simmer 4-10 minutes.
Allow to cool.
Marindate meat
Watch closely while grilling to avoid over cooking / burning
