Wine Fridge Monitor

The temperature sensor attached to a clothes hanger with marine epoxy and cable ties. The epoxy provides water proofing. The wine bottle is then filled with water and the stiff wire is epoxied to the inside neck of the bottle so that the temperature sensor is suspended in the middle of the bottle.

The wire is epoxied to the bottle. After the epoxy cured, a cork was used to fill the void. More epoxy was used to ensure a water tight seal.

The temperature and humidity sensor is attached to the neck of the bottle and daisy chained with a second sensor module (temperature, humidity, solar) which is located outside of the wine fridge.

Eurocave Charcoal Filter

The eurocave charcoal filter costs about $30. It can easily be removed and the carbon can be replaced. The filter uses carbon pellets. There are paper filters at either end of the plastic tubing. Carefully twist the parts to separate them. I used coffee filter cut out to fit in the plastic tubing.
