Both Ariau and EcoPark not ecotourism products, but cater to people who like the Amazon circus experience : see and get close to animals (even if they are not originally from the area) in a (secondary) rainforest setting.
Tiwa caters to those who like soft adventure and has the advantage of taking its environmental impacts seriously (not the case of the Ariau and EcoPark) and being close to Manaus, but still in a veru nice setting.
Those who want to get a better idea of the Amazon should venture further either by boat (Amazon or Selly Clipper, Tucano) or go to the Uakari Floating Lodge at Mamiraua (just google it) near Tefe. Juma Lodge is also recommended by some.
Mamiraua is stunning, I slept between trees in a hammock so do not know about the lodge but the lake and surrounding area, at least in 2003, was perfect
